The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 release enhanced previous Dashboarding (reporting) capabilities of CRM Online. Now you can create multiple “System Dashboards” or personal “My Dashboards” in various layout as seen below. This allows users and administrators to create custom dashboards to show their “data of interest” in various graphical formats and view them on demand at click of a button.Administrator can create System Dashboards for organization wide availability or users can create their own personal Dashboards for their consumption and also share them with others in the organization. It is easy to configure and use yet delivers powerful reporting capabilities to executives, management, and staff.Out-of-the-box, it comes preconfigured with 7 System Dashboards which you can use as-is or customize them to your specific needs. Dashboard can be customized to contain Charts, Lists, IFrames, and/or Web Resources.
- Charts can be in a form of bar, column, funnel, line, and/or pie.
- Lists can be any of the available system views for a given Record Type
- IFrames can be used to allow CRM to access external web sites / web page
- Web Resources can be used to add reports or Silverlight application.
